Trip to South Queens ferry

Finally I got time to write about our trip to Queens ferry on 21st May,2008. I had to call Sandhya 3 times that morning to wake her up at 10.30 am. She answered the call with such a upset voice that made me think probably I woke her up half way through her sleep. We quickly cancelled our previously planned trip and decided to visit this place. Expected time for departure was set to 1pm. Sayak kindly agreed to join us provided we leave 15 mints late. We agreed considering the fact that he gets up every day not earlier than 12pm and some extra time to let him perform his morning rituals ( rolling few bits of papers and of course matchstick needs to be handy).

We began our journey at 1.30 pm. We took a bus from Princess Street 44X and reached there in about 30 mints. That was my first & longest bus journey after coming here. The view from the bus was so beautiful that my eyes remained glued to the scenery, occasionally getting distracted by Sayak who was very much interested in choosing the house which he is going to buy after graduating. Sandhya seating one seat behind us was very proud of how she could decide and execute this trip so quickly ( You got to take into account that she was mid way her sleep when I woke her up at 10.30am).

What we did there? Guess it. Here are some clues.

Okie, its time for what we did best :-)

We spotted this place when we were coming... so had to walk back quite a distance to get here.

Hold hold on I cant go on posting all the pics here... We took the return bus at 4.30pm.

The snap with Ghosh winking is infact a 'manipulated' wink. He was punched right in his left eye for having winked at a foreign lady....ohoo....what a sound it was....Sayak was diligent enough to capture that punched eye without any momentary loss. The above and below snaps are Sayak and me rejoicing at that turn of events....!

With a broken eye, Ghosh still managed to capture profile pictures of all in the rapeseed fields. Poor thing....his photographic eye still works though..!
